PENN

FEILD

Penn Field is a former WWI military airfield. In 1918 there were five brick buildings constructed totaling 168,000 square feet. After the war the site was sold to the Woodward family who used the space to manufacture wooden truck frames and eventually wood furniture. MFB was one of the partners who purchased and redeveloped the original five brick buildings in 2000. The current buildings are completely renovated on the inside as creative office space. Penn Field is recognized as one of Austin’s most high profile redevelopments.
